We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, our content and services, and to handle requests and orders. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract / pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
This website is hosted by an external hosting provider. When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page visited, referrer URL, browser type and version and operating system. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the error-free and secure operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days. We have a data processing agreement with the host under Art. 28 GDPR.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests you send to us, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.
When you contact us via the price calculator, the contact form, the call-back form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request, prepare a quote or carry out the transport order:
| Price calculator | Pick-up and delivery addresses, date and time, cargo type, weight, dimensions, selected options, contact details |
| Contact form & call-back | Name, company, email, phone number, message and attached files |
| Phone, email | Your contact details and the content of the communication |
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling requests effectively). Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after 6 months. Form data is processed with the WordPress plugin “Contact Form 7” and sent to us by email; it is not passed on to third parties.
To carry out the transport we share the necessary data (addresses, on-site contact, shipment details) with the driver performing the shipment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We also use carefully selected service providers for hosting, email and IT support who are bound by our instructions under Art. 28 GDPR. Data is only transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA where this is necessary for the transport (e.g. destination Switzerland, Norway or the UK) or appropriate safeguards are in place. We never sell your data.
You can contact us via WhatsApp, provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. Your phone number and the content of your messages are processed by WhatsApp/Meta; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Use is voluntary; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Please do not send sensitive data via WhatsApp — use phone or email instead.
Our website uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies (e.g. for the language selection or for storing your cookie settings) are set on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies (e.g. statistics or marketing) are only set with your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
To manage your consent we use the consent tool “CookieYes” (CookieYes Limited, 3 Warren Yard, Warren Park, Wolverton Mill, Milton Keynes, MK12 5NW, United Kingdom). Your choice is stored in a cookie (“cookieyes-consent”) so that we can respect and document it on later visits (Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other third parties.
We currently do not use any analytics or marketing tools. If this changes, we will first describe the provider, purpose, legal basis (consent), retention period and any transfer to third countries here.
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Contract and invoice data are kept for the statutory retention periods of 6 to 10 years (Art. 74 of the Polish Accounting Act, Art. 86 of the Polish Tax Ordinance) and then deleted.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
